In setting out to prepare this document the intention was to strive to maintain the anonymity of the parents and children concerned here (as it could be any family in Ireland), while at the same time preserving the integrity of the report by retaining the names of the professionals who were involved in the process. Considering the Star chamber "in camera rule" abuse of power that is used by the statutory services and legal profession to prevent public understanding of the dynamics of family law and family breakdown conflicts, it is a core intention when preparing this document to provide access for anyone who is truly interested in justice and equality and Law reform to examine the details of the interactions between HSE and the citizens of the state. It is hoped that this might serve as a generic template for others who have suffered abuse of procedure when dealing with statutory bodies and the legal system in Ireland, that they move beyond the emotional angry reaction (valid and all as those are) and focus their efforts and collecting, collating aggregation and explaining the details, the evidence, the findings and the implications of their experiences. For those who have been interminably damaged by the power of the statutory services, and in recognition that one can get one's life back over again, at least for sharing and distribution on an evidenced basis of one's experiences, may be of assistance to other families who are facing into these horrors.
