Supreme Court Judgment 12th December 2009 re Rights of Father

Today's seminal judgment (is this the ultimate play on a word) in the Supreme court may have major consequences in terms of societal reflection on what is a Father? are fathers simply a "Sometimes bearable" adjunct  or a core, fundamental element in a child's life and upbringing.

The fact that it takes a case of a sperm donor gay man to a lesbian couple for our legal system to consider the issues of fatherhood is a sad refelction of how skewed we have become.

At the same time as all media and political commentators and politicians, ministers and all refer to Child Benefit as "being paid to Mothers" only without noting the fundamental Parental INEquality is such conversation, it seems the courts ar eacting against a cultural PC condidtioning of Fathers as an opition (an Applesque "plug-in", a  sometimes interesting accessory)!
